Nothing Better

A few weeks ago I came home about 9:30 one night after having had Riley that day, worked and gone to class. I was pooped and HUNGRY!! James was at his small group when I got home, so I opened the fridge to find nothing, the pantry...nada, but when I opened the freezer I hit the jackpot! James knows that my absolute favorite ice cream is Mint Chocolate Chip from Braum's and he surprised me with it that night. I was so excited and stuffed with ice cream when he got home that night. The only reason I thought to post this tonight is because I am waiting on James to get home with a cup of my favorite (not 3 pints this time!!).

March in Review

March has been busy, busy, busy so here is a quick review.

I am redoing my February resolution to take my vitamins everyday. I failed horribly the first time, but am doing better this month.

James reunited with an old friend, so it has been fun to watch them pick up their friendship right where it left off.

We have made some wonderful new friends and are loving getting to know them.

Jena came and spent the night, ate Mexican food with me and of course we did a bit of shopping.

I have completed all of my "teacher" classes!! Can I get a Woohoo from anyone? I am looking forward to my first free Saturday in a while.

James and I found a new favorite restaurant, Uncle Julio's. We also saw New In Town, a very cute, predictable movie.

We have also begun to really enjoy our Netflix membership. Very convenient!

M-my sweet five year is learning to read and suddenly growing up very fast. She is very fun right now.

I was asked to work for my family full-time this summer. I am very thankful for the opportunity and really looking forward to it.

We got a security system installed last week and James set it off the first night. Thankfully we are figuring it out and glad that we have it, as break-ins are occurring at a very high rate right now.

I headed to Meghann's on Saturday when I got out of class and spent two night with her, Kevin and Dax. Dax is growing so fast and talks non-stop. They are expecting Darby to arrive on April 7th and Meghann looked so great! From there, I went to Mom and Dad's for a night. Mom and I did some shopping in Mineola and I must say I found some great treasures (like always).

While I was gone James enjoyed Whirlyball (look it up) with some of his buddies. I know he was glad to have me home, but I think he secretly likes when I'm gone because that means he can eat all the hamburger helper he wants!

We are now just enjoying being back in the same place and looking forward to the weekend. More later. Thanks for checking in!
